Former WWE Superstar Believes Shane McMahon Would Replace Vince McMahon in the Future

Vince McMahon has been the ultimate decision-maker in WWE for a long time now. But soon, a time will come when there will be a successor to his throne. While many fans want to see Triple H as his replacement, many believe that it will be Shane McMahon.

In recent times, McMahon and WWE have been challenged to their limits by Tony Khan’s AEW. However, Vince accepted this challenge and produced one of the most entertaining episodes of Monday Night Raw on September 20, 2021.

Former WWE Star JTG appeared on the Wrassingh Show, where he spoke about the rumors of WWE getting sold. He also stated that he wants Shane McMahon to continue McMahon’s legacy by being the new WWE Chairman after Vince McMahon.

He said,” I hope [WWE won’t be sold]. I hope the rumors are not true. I’d like to see the WWE stay in the McMahon family! Yeah, if it was up to me, if it was just my personal opinion… I would love to have Shane McMahon in charge.”

JTG prefers Shane McMahon over Triple H as WWE Chairman after Vince McMahon

During his appearance on the Wrassingh Show, JTG claimed he was very much impressed with Shane McMahon during his time in WWE and felt Shane will do justice to the role of the next WWE chairman.

He said, “When I was there, Shane, his energy and what he brought to to the table – I think he’ll do WWE [justice]. He’ll keep the legacy alive!”

Later on, JTG revealed he would like to see Shane McMahon be the next WWE Chairman instead of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

He said, “Because when you have Stephanie and Triple H, those are two minds. You got two cooks in the kitchen, right? I think, Shane… I think if he was just the captain. I think he would do a great job as the new chairman of the WWE.”

However, it might be too early to predict Vince McMahon’s successor; the WWE Chairman is full of life and very much passionate about his work. It is also reported that Vince will have more control over WWE NXT now. But when the time comes, he won’t be reluctant to choose a worthy successor. Only time will tell who and when.
