WWE Elimination Chamber is knocking on the door, and it’s the perfect time to look back at the best eliminations from the storied history

To save you the effort, WWE compiled a list of top ten eliminations from chamber matches.

John Cena: Elimination Chamber 2018

John Cena’s elimination at the hands of Braun Strowman found its spot at number 10. Cena positioned himself on the top rope and launched at Strowman, but the latter caught him, and dropped him on the ring floor and eliminated him via pinfall.

This was a seven-man Elimination Chamber match. The other Superstars were Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Elias, and The Miz.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Rey Mysterio: Elimination Chamber 2011

At number 9, it’s Rey Mysterio’s elimination by Edge. Mysterio jumped at Edge, but The Rated-R Superstar delivered a mid-air spear which made the arena and the announcers go berserk with excitement.

The other Superstars were Big Show, Kane, Wade Barrett, and Drew McIntyre

Winner: Edge

AJ Styles: Elimination Chamber 2017

At number 8, it’s AJ Styles getting eliminated by Bray Wyatt. ‘The Phenomenal One’ tried to take down Wyatt but he applied Wyatt’s Phenomenal Reverse to eliminate Styles.

The other Superstars were John Cena, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, and Baron Corbin.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Sheamus: Elimination Chamber 2014

At number 7, it’s Christian eliminating Sheamus by jumping off the top and delivering a Frogsplash. Even though Christian injured his wrist while doing this, he eliminated him.

The other Superstars were John Cena, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, and Randy Orton.

Winner: Randy Orton

John Cena: No Way Out 2009

At number 6, it’s John Cena’s elimination by Edge, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio. Cena had perched Edge on his shoulders to put him down. However, Jericho arrived and kicked Cena, who subsequently dropped Edge.

The other Superstars were Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Mandy Rose.

AJ Styles: Elimination Chamber 2019

At number 4, it’s Randy Orton eliminating AJ Styles. Styles was on the top rope, preparing for a jump. Orton arrived out of nowhere, and RKO’d him while he was still on the top rope.

Big Show: No Way Out 2009

At number 3, it’s Big Show’s elimination at the hands of Jeff Hardy, with a minor help from Triple H. Hardy took a Swanton leap off the top of the pod and landed on Big Show. However, Hardy hurt his back and couldn’t make it to Big Show for the pinfall.

Triple H painfully crawled towards Big Show and placed a hand on him while the referee counted to three for the elimination.

The other Superstars were Edge, The Undertaker, and Vladimir Kozlov.
Winner: Triple H

Sheamus: Elimination Chamber 2011

At number 2, it’s John Morrison eliminating Sheamus using a Jomo’s Dive. Morrison shocked the arena when he started climbing to the top of the dome and didn’t stop until he was directly above Sheamus.

He dropped on Sheamus with all his might and secured the elimination. Interestingly, this was the same match where Morrison broke Sheamus’ tooth, unintentionally of course.

The other Superstars were CM Punk, R-Truth, John Cena, and Randy Orton.

Winner: John Cena

MVP: No Way Out 2008

At number 1, it’s MVP’s elimination by The Undertaker using a chokeslam and Finlay holding for the count. This probably wouldn’t have made the list considering chokeslam is a finisher move Taker used frequently. However, this time, Taker used a chokeslam on MVP while the latter was on the top of the pod.

Finlay held MVP down as the referee counted to three.

The other Superstars were Batista, The Great Khali, and Big Daddy V.

Winner: The Undertaker
