Despite this, Taker refrained from facing his brother as he didn’t want to fight his own flesh and blood. The ‘Phenom‘ finally caved and fought his brother for the first time at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ in 1998.

Paul Bearer was on Kane’s side and did his best so the ‘Demon’ could inflict the most pain on Taker. The Undertaker finally won the match after 3 Tombstones!

The Undertaker vs Ric Flair (WrestleMania X8)

The Undertaker faced the 16-time World Champion Ric Flair at WrestleMania X8 in a No Disqualification Match. It was after this match that WWE began acknowledging Taker’s undefeated streak as he reached 10-0. Both Taker and Flair took each other to the extremes, fully using the No DQ stipulation.

The match had fun moments, like Arn Anderson coming in and hitting Undertaker with the Spinebuster. It seemed like that would be the end, but Taker was never one to give up so easily.

He got back and put away the ‘Nature Boy’ with a devastating Tombstone Piledriver. The effects of the match truly showed on both men’s faces.

The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25)

Undertaker and Shawn Michaels restarted their rivalry from the 90s on the Road to WrestleMania 25. HBK vowed to break Taker’s streak and make it 17-1.

Everything about their match at Mania 25 was awe-inspiring. Their entrances, the entire emotion, storytelling, and action just made it a perfect match.

The neck and neck contest between both men had fans in splits over who would walk out the victor. The end for Michaels came when Taker caught him in mid-air when he attempted a moonsault. The ‘Deadman’ then hit him with a Tombstone Piledriver and extended his streak to 18-0.
