There is no question about the fact that Brock Lesnar is a beast in and out of the ring. Even now, when Lesnar is a baby face and not destroying arenas, his aura of The Beast has not faded away. This keeps many away from him, especially when The Beast is in a bad mood or done with work.
But the first-ever double world champion in WWE history, Chris Jericho, put a fire under Lesnar when he made a huge mistake in the ring. While it might have been ill-advised for the Y2J to do something like get into a real brawl with Lesnar, he stuck by his beliefs and stood against The Beast. Despite everything, Jericho did not back down and was proud to explain in detail what happened when he came to the True Gordie podcast.

Former WWE Champion once opened up about standing up to Brock Lesnar
On the True Gordie podcast, Chris Jericho talked about standing up to Brock Lesnar. He said that while he was watching the Lesnar vs Randy Orton match in SummerSlam 2016; he was worried. Lesnar was hitting Orton with back elbows on the head. Jericho exclaimed that Orton could have died with all that force thrust into his head. He added that even if things were supposed to happen this way; it was way out of line.
He continued to say, “I was in gorilla….. and Brock came through. He saw me angry about it and decided he wanted to come to challenge me and we got into a little bit of an issue. I was like f* this guy, I don’t give a sh*t about how big he is, I don’t fuc*ing care, it’s fu**ing wrong, and I will stand up for what I believe in to the death.”
After that, Jericho also revealed that Lesnar called him a homophobic slur and was face to face with the Lionheart. But Jericho did not back down. He kept reiterating the fact that he was about to bite the nose off of Lesnar’s face if he came any closer. But while Triple H wasn’t able to stop the two, Vince McMahon stepped in and the altercation came to an end.

This isn’t the only time that Jericho talked about this altercation either. Jericho talked to Chael Sonnen about this as well. There, he explained that it was a matter of seeing his dear friend in a pool of blood. He had to speak up about it and he didn’t hesitate, either.
