Now, everyone is interested to know what his next step will be. Mostly it’s a toss between UFC and WWE. During his conversation with MMA Fighting on SBN, Steveson revealed that Brock Lesnar has been helping him with the right direction, but he didn’t reveal what that direction was.

“Almost definitely. Brock is a big influence, you know. He’s had his input on things I want to do. I mean, he’s told me a while ago what should I not do and what should I do. You know, Brock’s been there for a long time and he’s pointing me in the right direction. And he’ll make sure I always go the right way.”

However, he definitely wants to explore WWE. In fact, he has already claimed he wants to be the next big WWE Superstar.

“Vince McMahon is a great dude. Triple H is a great person. So, for me to not explore WWE would be very fairly stupid on my part.”

Should Gable Steveson choose UFC over WWE?

As of now, everyone is divided upon which route the young gold medalist should take. However, retired MMA professional, Daniel Cormier, believes he should go to WWE first and then UFC.

According to Cormier, it’s the best way for him to work in UFC PPVs. Steveson should capitalize on wrestling, get promoted as a monster, and then go to UFC with his established dominance.
