Though he left the organization in 2016, fans still remember him for his impact on the business. But one of the most spoken incidents about him is an altercation with Lesnar where the latter reportedly hit Ryback in the face 3 times, giving him a black eye in 2012.

During the closing moments of the match, the 46-year-old made Orton bleed profusely, ending the match in a TKO. Just like fans, other wrestlers backstage too were perplexed.

Chris Jericho, close friend of Orton, confronted Lesnar head-on as he didn’t appreciate his assault on The Viper. Despite Triple H and others acting as peacemakers, it took Vince McMahon to step in and separate the two, by telling Y2J that it was part of the plan.
