Hollywood megastar Dwayne Johnson took Harry Burns’ quote from Nora Ephron’s 1989 classic ‘When Harry Met Sally’ way too seriously. It said, “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson kept this phrase close to his heart and married his second wife, Lauren Hashian, as soon as possible. The wrestler turned actor and musician Lauren Hashian tied the knot in 2019 on the island of Hawaii.

One of the memorable things about Johnson’s and Hashian’s wedding was they held their nuptials roughly an hour after the sun rose.

In 2019, ‘The Great One’ of WWE visited Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show and spoke about his “magical” wedding. Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian had an early morning wedding at 7:45 in the morning on the cliffs of Kauai, Hawaii.

It was a very private Hawaiian ceremony and truly the best for the couple. However, Ellen DeGeneres asked The Rock why he would have the wedding at 7:45 in the morning?

“Well, I had to work out. I had like the 8 o’clock workout. I’m only kidding. We wanted to have an early morning wedding. That way, we said the vows and get it over with. And then by 10, 11 o’clock, we’re hanging,” Johnson joked.

The Jumanji actor hilariously joked that he exchanged vows in the morning because he wanted to hit the gym. Of course, we all know how Johnson is a massive gym freak and doesn’t skip a beat for hitting weights in his ‘Iron Paradise’ gym.

Musician Lauren Hashian and The Rock first met on the set of 2007 Disney’s ‘The Game Plan’. The Hollywood megastar has confessed to WSI Magazine that within 30 seconds, he fell for Lauren Hashian.

He mentioned, “Within 30 seconds, I thought, Wow, this girl’s stunning! At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany, and she was just coming off a big breakup too. Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over.”

DJ and Lauren Hashian, before tying knots, dated for almost 12 years, and the couple already had two kids. Johnson also shared that Hawaii at the time was beautiful, and with his ancestors, attending the wedding was truly magical.
