Yeah, I just listened. I thought @davemeltzerWON would have learned his lesson last time commenting about women’s bodies, but apparently I’m fair game 🙄
So I get to respond. Again. To a rumor about my body. Again.
You know what? This is when I stop.

While many have blasted him for his misogynistic comments, Flair might’ve ended his career with her latest tweet. After a fan notified her of Meltzer’s comments, which included Flair’s appearance, she gave him a piece of her mind.
You have my phone number. It would take you 30 seconds to ask as opposed to giving straight crap to your listeners. Grow up.
For you, of all people, to comment on a woman’s looks…
Do you have any shame, decency or professionalism left at all?
Find a mirror. Look hard Dave.

Dave Meltzer has always been a respected wrestling critic, but his assessment of female wrestlers’ appearances has often come under fire. His star-rating scale might be popular, but his demeanour towards the growing women’s division has been called out as problematic.
Flair asked Dave to reflect on his comments and how he might’ve affected so many professional wrestlers before her. “You have my phone number. It would take you 30 seconds to ask as opposed to giving straight crap to your listeners,” wrote Flair.

Given his status as wrestling’s top journalist, Dave Meltzer’s opinion is respected as much as Vince McMahon’s opinion. His star-rating scale to determine match quality changed the wrestling game forever. The Young Bucks even have a finishing move named after him.
Despite the pedestal he’s placed on, Meltzer has received a ton of backlash for his journalistic integrity. Many times, wrestlers have taken offense to his analysis and called him out for passing snide comments on their careers without ever competing himself.
He received a ton of heat for commenting on Peyton Royce’s appearance. Meltzer claimed, “I do think Peyton Royce’s transformation to look more attractive…. I don’t know,” and even claimed she used to be ‘ a lot lighter’. Peyton responded to him, “So what would you have me do, Dave… starve myself?” (H/T Heel by Nature)
