Former WWE champion, Bobby Lashley made the biggest mistake of his professional/personal life. He “accidentally” put his hands on Goldberg’s son, Gage, and put him in the ‘hurt lock’. Ever since that incident, Goldberg was waiting to hunt down Lashley and “kill him” inside the ring.

The two titans of WWE locked their arms at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in a ‘No Holds Barred’, falls count anywhere match. ‘Berg legitimately hit Lashley with hard rights and lefts.

However, the match ended dramatically when he speared Lashley off the ramp onto the bunch of tables to get the win.

Goldberg was extremely fired up after his win and seemed proud after dismantling Lashley systematically in front of the Arabian crowd. He added that he would protect his family no matter what.

“No offense to any championship, but my family is much more important than any title, any championship, any accolade, anything. There’s nothing that’s gonna stir up the violence in a human being than touching and disrespecting their family.”

“I don’t care if I’m 500 years old, I’ll come out of a grave and I’ll rip your face off. That’s something that you don’t do. Wrestling business, football, anywhere it doesn’t matter. You do not mess with a man’s family.” Goldberg said.

However, with this ‘Bobby Lashley’ chapter over, what is next for the 54-year-old veteran? We know that currently ‘Berg is with WWE on a contract that allows him two matches per year.

This means this is the last time the WWE Universe will see the former WCW Champion for the foreseeable future. It looks like Goldberg will eventually resurface next year.
