In a recent interview, WWE Hall Of Famer and Superstar Goldberg shot back at Roman Reigns following a veiled insult on the latter’s twitter handle. Goldberg went on to call Reigns a “joke”.
“The Big Dog” started it all when he replied to a fan’s question on Twitter. The fan asked Reigns why he punched a pad during his entrance on the stage area. This is a common question that has been the topic of discussion for a long time now.
Finally replying, Reigns tweeted the following message.

Nothing to explain Nick. It’s a little piece of pad. So I don’t break my hand on steel grate. I gota perform like 48 weeks a year man. So that would be stupid. It would be like,🤔 head butting a door before my match level of stupid. Anyway, have a good day Nick. 🤙🏽 https://t.co/OgHEoUuDIt

For those of you who may not know, the one person that matches Roman Reigns’ description of the levels of stupidity is none other than Goldberg.
Goldberg has this sort of ritual that he head-butts a door before making his entrance. Although this was never brought into the limelight, Reigns makes sure to target it.

Responding to the former Champion, Goldberg had a piece of his mind to share.
“Roman… you’re a joke, first of all. Second of all, when he ragged on me about headbutting the doors and stuff, you know… I never really explained my whole thought process on that,” says Goldberg.
Goldberg explains the reason behind head-butting doors
“For you guys to get the character that you got, I had to do certain things. Well, one of them was head-butting the door. Right? And that may, on the outside, look like a stupid move, but as I mentioned, we all weigh the positives and negatives,” explains Goldberg. “So it’s very positive to make it as violent as humanly possible, and as real as humanly possible, and all the negative is you lose a little blood and hey, man, you get another concussion and cut a week off your life.”
As you can see in the video above, Goldberg is clearly bleeding from his head without contact from another Superstar. This was a result of his tradition of head-butting doors. He has apparently retired this tradition following the mishap of his bleeding head during the match against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown.
Goldberg also threw a jab a Reigns by adding a line of his own.
“That’s the difference between Georgia and Georgia Tech, in a nutshell. You need no more explanation.”

We do not know if Reigns will return to re-ignite the feud against Goldberg that abruptly ended due to COVID-19 concerns. However, that doesn’t stop the two from exchanging insults on social media.
