WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has been in the pro wrestling business for decades now. The fans can never forget his impact on the wrestling world. Now, Goldberg has an opportunity this Saturday at SummerSlam to extend his legacy even longer.

However, before that, Bill Goldberg gave an interview on “WWE The Bump” where he talked about wrestling and family. He revealed how he would completely back his son if he ever wanted to join pro wrestling. Goldberg also stated how his son would need to watch out as he’d be a big target.

“I don’t want to choose his path. The kid’s 15-years-old, and he’s a hell of a baseball player and a hell of a football player. And if one day he wanted to step in the ring, you know, I would support it 100 percent.”

“But I would also let him know to be prepared to be a target, as he is probably right now. As a father, I would be behind him 100 percent. Just know, if he did, he would be the biggest and baddest to ever step in the ring, just like his dad.” (H/t WrestleInc.)

Gage, Goldberg’s son, would have huge shoes to fill stepping into the ring. The legacy of his father is still talked about today, and it looks like there is more to come.

Goldberg tipped his hat to everybody who made the ThunderDome possible. “It was a cornucopia of people trying to provide an experience for people under the pandemic. But it fell way short of what they’re used to.” So this SummerSlam is one event we cannot afford to miss.
