“Hang In There”, “Kick Cancer’s Butt”: Latest Health Update on Dustin Rhodes’ Ex-Rival Leaves Everyone Praying and Concerned

One horrifying news recently struck the WWE Universe after a legendary WWE superstar shared about his worsening health. The star might not have become a major name in the promotion and has worked in WWE for a year or two. But the news of his deteriorating health has frightened many. 

Rick Harris, or as the wrestling fanatics, would know him, Black Bart, has competed against several WWE stars, including Dustin Rhodes. Not only did he wrestle him, but came out as a winner in Rhodes’ debut match. He also got a shot at the WWE World Tag Team titles. Away from WWE, he has earned several accolades, including the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. Harris wrestled in the 1970s and continued his in-ring career till early 2000s.

Dustin Rhodes’ first opponent shared an unfortunate health update

To let all his fans and well-wishers know about his current health condition, Bart recently updated through Facebook about his diagnosis of stage four colon cancer. 

He shared this unfortunate update about his health while putting forward his strong personality. Bart also assured his fans that he will fight with all his strength till the end.

Here’s a part from the wrestling recent post, “I was diagnosed today with stage 4 colon cancer that has also spread to my liver. I am not the kind to just roll over and play dead so you all should know that I will fight it with all I have in me.” 

Before he goes to an oncologist and starts his chemotherapy, the 75-year-old asked his fans to remember him in his prayers. He added, “The main thing I ask from my Facebook people is for prayer because I believe we can all use extra prayers. I will post updates when I have them.”

It’s no surprise that fans show concern for their favorite wrestlers, even after many years of their retirement. Recently, they did the same for another former wrestler, and now for Harris. 

Fans showered their prayers and words of comfort for the 75-year-old

As soon as wrestling fans got to know about this unfortunate news, they sent their prayers for the wrestler and his family. All of them just wished for one thing, and that was the former wrestler’s recovery.

One fan asked Harris to kick cancer’s butt, referring to his good-old days of wrestling.

“MAJOR prayer sir! Kick cancer’s butt!!”

Some of the well-wishers tried to comfort him with their warm words while reminding him of how much he means to his fans.
