This led to their match at WrestleMania 33. Unfortunately, Owens could not main event WrestleMania anymore after losing his title. Perhaps Vince McMahon is the reason behind it.

The former WWE superstar revealed Vince McMahon considered the match to be the ‘worst match in WrestleMania history’. But he feels that this is down to Kevin Owens. During the interview with talkSPORT, Jericho said, “When I came through, Vince went [thumbs up], so I think he was on Kevin’s case at the time.”

Jericho thinks Vince said this because he wanted Kevin Owens to lose his weight, or perhaps he wasn’t happy with his work as a heel. However, Jericho later praised Owens and claimed him to be a unique performer, irrespective of his weight and size.
