Ric Flair is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever. He holds numerous world title reigns, sharing the record with John Cena. Flair has retired and is currently focusing on his health, having achieved and surpassed several records during his prime. Flair recently sat down in a podcast chat with fellow WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin as they discussed their careers, and the current superstars on the roster. However, Ric Flair’s situation with the 2K games also came up, and they discussed the matter.

After WWE 2k23 came out earlier this year, fans were shocked to find The Nature Boy missing from the game. He last appeared in WWE 2k22, where multiple versions of him from different eras were available. However, during the course of one year, Flair made multiple moves outside of WWE, and the company decided on cutting him off from the game.

Despite being one of the top stars on the roster back in his day, WWE and Ric Flair often did not see eye to eye and there have been tensions between them in the past as well.

His work ventures outside WWE last year compelled the wrestling promotion to opt the 16-times-world champion out of the video game. Other than Ric Flair, several other wrestling legends were also missing from the game as well.

Names such as Paul Bearer, Goldust, and Dusty Rhodes were missing from the roster. While Goldust is still in AEW, the other two names could have been included owing to their history and legacy with the promotion.
