“He Had My Vote”, “No, Overhyped”: Cody Rhodes Latest Statement on Becoming the President of the United States Split Fans on Social Media

Several people in the United States want Dwayne Johnson to be the president. The Rock has talked about the same in many of his interviews and has said no to the same. However, another WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes recently shared about not wanting to become a US President. The 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble Winner once aspired to become the president but has given up on those plans.

A few days ago, Cody Rhodes appeared on Impaulsive podcast. Upon his arrival, Logan Paul quickly said he looked like a president, to which ‘The American Nightmare’ replied, “The only dreams I had growing up, I wanted to be a WWE Champion and then I wanted to run for president.”

Furthermore, Paul’s co-host George asked whether the neck tattoo was the reason not want to be the president anymore. Rhodes added, I don’t want to run for President anymore. That seems like a terrible thing.” 

The former AEW star added, “Also, [there’s] the tattoo on the neck. The dude drew it and I’ve always liked the design. The American Nightmare design was what it was.”

It was his childhood dream to become the US President and now he doesn’t aspire to that. Several WWE stars have entered the political career after wrestling. Likes of which include Jesse Ventura, Kane, and Matt Morgan.

This was a shocking comment by Rhodes about once aspiring to become president. However, the fans had mixed reactions to the former TNT Champion’s thoughts on once becoming US President.

Fans recall The Rock wanting to run for the presidency.

A few of them would love to have President Cody Rhodes!

However, few fans don’t want him in politics.

Rhodes is set to face Roman Reigns or Sami Zayn (whoever wins the Undisputed WWE Universal Titles at Elimination Chamber) in the main event of WrestleMania after winning the Men’s Royal Rumble.

However, in the recent RAW, he addressed that his opponent might change to Zayn after Elimination Chamber, even though he has challenged The Tribal Chief. Heyman interrupted Rhodes, and they had a long back and forth. Rhodes joined The Rock in revealing that he once aspired to be president.

Why does Dwayne Johnson doesn’t want to become president?

The Rock is doing great in Hollywood and also has a football league XFL coming up. Even though many want him to be president, DJ doesn’t aspire for the same.

In an interview with Variety in 2022, he said about having decent leadership skills that don’t make him a potential candidate. Moreover, he admitted that he didn’t know anything about politics, which is important to be a president.
