Matt Hardy lashed out at Vince McMahon for trying to recreate the tag team – The Hardy Boyz. He has taken particular offense to McMahon trying to recreate a tag team with the brotherhood theme using his brother Jeff and Matt Riddle.

According to Matt Hardy, his brother, Jeff Hardy, and himself are part of the greatest tag team in the history of pro-wrestling. He doesn’t just claim this, but he provides a plethora of evidence for the same.

“We are the only tag team to hold the WWE World Tag Team titles many, many, multiple times. Also, the Raw World Tag Team Titles, the SmackDown World Tag Team Titles, the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles, the WCW World Tag Team Titles, also the TNA Impact World Tag Team Titles. We are the only Tag Team in history to achieve all that.”

He believes that both of them hold the power and capacity to continue their journey as a tag team and add other titles to the list.

However, Vince McMahon should stop trying to capitalize on the name ‘The Hardy Boyz’ by using the name ‘The Hardy Bros’ by putting Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle together.

“Vince McMahon is so obsessed with the greatness, the popularity, and the success of The Hardy Boyz that he has created The Hardy Bros.

“He has put together another guy named Matt with my brother, Jeff, to try and recreate the magic that we once had. He is trying to confuse the marketplace because he so wishes he still had The Hardy Boyz.”

Has Matt Hardy struck the right chord about ‘The Hardy Bros’?

Matt Hardy might not be wrong. The fact that McMahon put together a tag team that plays off of The Hardy Boyz where it’s Jeff Hardy and ‘Matt’ Riddle provides weight to Matt Hardy’s claim.

Since Matt Riddle and Jeff Hardy came together, they haven’t been able to capitalize on the market as a Tag Team the way The Hardy Boyz did.

On the contrary, it’s too early to make a verdict about The Hardy Bros. They haven’t had the chance to be a part of enough fights to prove their worth as a tag team.
