“He Tried to Protect Me” – Aleister Black Urges the Fans to Not Criticize the WWE Creatives

It has been a couple of days since WWE released Aleister Black from the company. The fans are still in shock due to the sudden release of the talented wrestler, mainly because Black had debuted a new look only two weeks prior to his release.
There were vignettes of a dark father character for Black. Sadly for the fans, he never got the chance to use it in front of them.

Following his release, Black took to Twitch and spoke his mind about his release and more. He said,
“Money in the Bank with AJ, when I stepped out of the dark and into the dark, that was the first time I did what I wanted to do. It got praised. Don’t get mad at our creative. They try their absolute hardest and there are good people working there. I’m very thankful for our creative and have had a good relationship with Bruce [Prichard]. He tried to protect me in a lot of situations. He wanted to get me out of the room. The consensus was ‘no one moves like him or has his intensity.'” (H/t Fightful for transcriptions)
Aleister believes that his style was a hybrid of traditional wrestling and new age striking. In the last five years, he’s proven to be one of the most influential strikers of this generation and will continue to do so.

Aleister Black was the first to speak up about his release
On June 2, 2021, Black took to Twitter and addressed his fans stating that he was still gathering his wits about the abrupt release. Aleister thanked the fans who allowed him to express himself in WWE.
Im gathering my thoughts as this was a complete left field for me as obviously we just started the dark father character but this was it, thank you so much WWE universe for allowing me to create and give you small bits of myself.
