Ric Flair once revealed a story where Hulk Hogan was about to get shot

On his podcast, WOOOO! Nation with Ric Flair, Flair talked about the territorial battles during that period.

He said, “Harley was so goddamn mad at WWE, WWF at that time, and he’s leaving me to wrestle [Bruiser] Brody over there and we had 3,000 people,” Flair said. “He’s going over to the convention center to kill Hulk! He pulled out his 9 mm tucked into his pants and goes, ‘I’ll be back’.”

Hogan was on the show and the two legends went on to talk about other stories during that era of wrestling. It was a time of wrestling that many fans take for granted right now.

Without any titantrons or social media announcements, McMahon made his own name in the wrestling business as well as created legends like Hogan, Randy Savage, and Ultimate Warrior.

During that time, Hogan was at the top of his game. Not only did he charm the audiences with his charisma, but he also became an icon for kids and future WWE superstars. But that soon mellowed out as time flew by and the New Generation came into WWE in the ’90s.

While Hogan might have to see many things in the business, a gun to the head is probably at the top of the scariest moments in his life.
