Prior to teaming up, Bianca and Sasha appeared on the Kevin Owens Show, where they talked a lot of trash. Owens pointed out they could walk into WrestleMania as tag team champions, similar to John Cena and Shawn Michaels in 2007. However, the issues between them could prevent that huge accomplishment.

Sasha boldly claimed that she’s the Michael Jordan of the women’s division, and Bianca can try to be LeBron James. Bianca claimed she respects Sasha’s accomplishments, but she’s walking down her own path to the SmackDown Women’s Title.

After the KO Show, Bianca and Sasha teamed up to face Tamina and Natalya. One might’ve expected the champion and challenger to steamroll the heel team, but they were dealt a shocking upset.

At ringside were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Jax’s new alliance with Reginald helped them get one up on their challengers at Fastlane.

Reginald distracted Banks and Belair, allowing the heels to take advantage, with Tamina rolling up Bianca for the upset. After the match, Sasha and Bianca bickered about whose fault it was, which led to Sasha calling Bianca a rookie.

After suffering another loss, Sasha Banks heads into next week with close to no momentum. Unfortunately, Banks requires all the momentum in the world to put down Nia Jax.

At Elimination Chamber, Jax pinned the SmackDown Women’s Champion to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships, granting Jax an automatic title shot.

With the pesky Reginald by her side, Jax has a slight advantage over the Boss, adding to her size and weight advantage as well.

If Jax wins the title, she heads into WrestleMania as a double champion, unless she drops the tag belts to Bianca and Sasha at Fastlane. The odds of that happening are very low, as Bianca and Sasha seemed destined to head to WrestleMania.
