WWE Superstars hold high praise for one another outside the ring. One good example of this is when Randy Orton praised his current Raw Tag Team partner, Matt Riddle.

During his recent conversation with Kurt Angle, Orton compared Matt Riddle to Kurt Angle himself. ‘The Viper’ believes that Riddle will go on to become a huge WWE Superstar like Kurt Angle.

“You know, I’ll kind of navigate the waters. And take my time sometimes like and that dude, he can do it all. And he can he busts his a** in that ring. Some of the matches he’s had with Sheamus have just been, it’s not my style of match I like to have.

“But the Riddle-Sheamus matches I’ve seen that as of late have been amazing. You know, I think he’s going to do quite well. He’s going to do well, like you did, Kurt. I think that he took to the setting so totally well.”  The Kurt Angle Show.

When the duo came together on Monday Night Raw as a tag team, it was an extremely unexpected move from WWE. However, the two have been working really well together, and they balance out the energies inside the ring.

Randy Orton did not like Matt Riddle

An interesting story about ‘The Legend Killer’ and ‘The Original Bro’ is that the former did not like the latter. During the same conversation with Angle, Orton revealed that he was not too fond of Riddle when he first saw him in Miami.

He thought Riddle didn’t know how to respect veteran Superstars, and that rubbed him in the wrong way. Since then, he’s come a long way after sharing the Raw locker room with Riddle.

It is possible that WWE will continue to push forward with RKBro. The tag team combination is similar to Kane and Daniel Bryan from Team Hell No.

In fact, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter believes that Orton and Riddle will end up being the challengers for Omos and AJ Styles, the current Raw tag team champions.

“For the Raw tag titles, A.J. Styles & Omos beat The New Day in a manner where you wouldn’t think of a rematch given two straight clean finishes. It feels early to go with Randy Orton & Riddle as challengers, although at some point that does look like a destination.”

It’s going to take some time for RKBro to reach that place considering they’re a fresh team, but it shouldn’t be long!
