It is no secret Rollins and ‘The Best in the World’ have no love lost between them. Punk stated that Rollins is the only one who hasn’t welcomed him back. When Punk made his return at Survivor Series last month, ‘The Visionary’ was quite unhappy seeing him back in the promotion.

Punk returned at Survivor Series just after Rollins’ team secured a victory over team Judgment Day. As the winning team was relishing their victory, ‘The Second City Saint’ made an appearance that turned Rollins’ mood sour. By the expression on Rollins’ face, it was very clear that he didn’t like seeing the former AEW superstar there.

Rollins never wanted Punk back in the Stamford-based promotion. During multiple interviews, he has threatened Punk not to show up in WWE.

He took several shots in the past, calling Punk a cancer and whatnot. Today it was Punk’s turn, and he didn’t let him off the hook so easily. Surely, Rollins will get more frustrated with Punk now after hearing what he said on SmackDown today.
