WWE has had endless shocking moments in the year 2022. One such moment was when the WWE star Ezekiel’s half-consciousness was taken away by his opponent, Kevin Owens. ‘Mr. Wrestling’ showed his opponent what he was made of. The match ended with Zeke eventually going into a coma.

In the Raw 8/8/2022 episode, the world caught Ezekiel being taken out of the building on a stretcher. The situation seemed so serious that the entire crowd was then afraid of ‘Mr. Wrestling’. However, that wasn’t the only buildup that same year. Since Zeke’s older brother, Elias, had retired, he did not return to the ring. However, he stepped into the ring again the same year after a few months, since his brother was admitted into a coma.

Elias returned to the Raw episode of 10/17/2022 and the crowd went wild. He then soon went on to reveal to the press the state of his younger brother. As always, the situation turned out to be emotional. The words used by ‘The Drifter’ touched everyone’s heart to the bottom. The WWE universe empathized with the wrestler, given the condition of his brother.

WWE saw Elias’ emotional moment

While talking to the camera, it was impossible to not take The Drifter’s brother’s report. However, it turns out that he is not updated on the news either. “Yeah, I gotta be honest with you. The boss is in way more contact with him than I am. He wants to know like, ‘When’s he going to be back? How is he? The truth is all the reports I get that he’s still in a coma,” confessed the 35-year-old. Although the situation where he doesn’t know much about his brother seemed impossible, following the storyline, it seems like it’s true.

Although Owens doubts that Elias and Ezekiel are both the same person, the storyline says otherwise. The crucial question arises with where Elias was when the whole family was beside Zeke on the hospital bed. To the query, he cleared his intentions to the fans.

Does the WWE star hate his younger brother?

The reason why Elias wasn’t beside the hospital bed with his younger brother is that he couldn’t tolerate the emotional burden. “I kind of keep my distance now to protect myself emotionally. It’s hard to see my brother like that, but all the reports I get say that he is still in a coma,” the wrestler shared with his fans.
