‘Isn’t The Rock on Team DC as Black Adam”: Fans Confused After Dwayne Johnson Promotes Marvel’s She-Hulk With a Stunning Cosplay

Marvel Cinematic Universe just dropped their latest release, She-Hulk: Attorney at law. Their first episode was just released and already have the coming two lined up in the next two weeks. She-Hulk follows the story of Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters. The pilot episode tells the story of her origin and the aftermath.

The web series stars some top names, such as Mark Ruffalo, Tatiana Maslany, Jameela Jamil, Tim Roth, and Benedict Wong, to name a few. However, the show opened up with average reviews, with most people criticizing the show for its below-average CGI.

No sooner did the web series release than the Twitter account of Fox WWE was swift enough to upload a hilarious photo of Dwayne Johnson. The photo showcased Dwayne Johnson dressed like Hulk and flexing his gigantic muscles. The photo was originally uploaded by The Rock during the 2018 Halloween as a throwback to the original 1977 ‘The Incredible Hulk’.

However, Fox found it more appropriate to post the photo now. They captioned the photo as, “How are we liking #shehulk?” and proceeded to tag The Rock as well.

At this point in time, it is well known how much associated Dwayne Johnson is with DC. His upcoming film, ‘Black Adam’, is about to release in October and is already collecting a huge hype. Johnson also recently joined DC Studios as their advisor.

One fan was quick to notice the contrast and irony in this tweet. He said, “I don’t mind that he likes the show or he’s advertising it but isn’t he on team DC as black Adam? I don’t think they’d like him promoting their rivals”

Several other fans also took to Twitter to post their reactions. Some even compared the picture with Jim Carrey’s 1994 The Mask character.

While others provided their reactions to this hilarious tweet.

Interestingly, most of the people criticized and judged the show for its below average CGI. Marvel, for the past decade, built their reputation for providing the fans with top-notch CGI and graphics, but recently they have been letting the fans down.

One fan wrote, “That looks better than the show’s CGI.”

Dwayne Johnson has several upcoming films lined up, including DC’s Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson released DC SuperPets in July where he voiced Superman’s dog Krypto whereas Mr.Fantastic from Dr.Strange 2, John Krasinski voiced Superman in the film. It also starred Kevin Hart in it. The Rock also has one of the most hyped films of this year lined up in October. Black Adam will mark the origin of the titular character and also has a rumored Henry Cavill cameo in it.

Dwayne Johnson also has several upcoming films in his portfolio which are about to release in the near future. Sometime in 2023, Red One will come out followed by San Andreas 2, then Doc Savage and a couple of more films. Dwayne Johnson’s 2023 Hollywood schedule now seems too busy. However, there is also a rumor flying around of Roman Reigns facing off against his cousin, The Rock at WrestleMania 39.
