“My Things Are Gonna Be a Lot Better”: $450M Worth Hollywood Star, Who Worked Alongside the Rock, Called Dwayne Johnson’s Movies “Stupid”

Dwayne Johnson has become one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood because of his sheer hard work. It’s not surprising that his films are blockbusters and top at the box office every time.

Until now, The Great One has been a part of 40+ films of various genres. However, once Johnson’s best friend called his movies ‘stupid.’

A couple of years ago, Kevin Hart appeared for an interview with Entertainment Weekly to promote his then-newest series, Die Hart. There he gave his views on the films by Dwayne Johnson and sarcastically called his action movies “stupid”.

The comedian said, “Not Dwayne Johnson-type of stuff, because those things are stupid. My things are gonna be a lot better. I lined up like 13 projects already, all action. One of them is called This Building Ain’t Mine.”

Hart added, “Another project is called I’m Not What You Think I Used To Be. It’s about robots. There’s another one called Spy I, Robot I. Smith Mr. And Mrs. Just working titles. Possible Mission. Don’t Train My Dog, I Got This.” (H/T Zoom TV Entertainment)

The reason Hart trolled his best friend was to promote his series. In the series, Die Hart, Kevin Hart plays a fictional version of himself who is tired of being the comedic sidekick and wants to be an action hero.

Indeed, the world knows both the stars have one of the best friendships. Since they first worked together in Central Intelligence in 2016, the fans too loved their comedic timing. They are one of the best pairs to share the screen in Hollywood.
