Millionaire Hollywood Star Asked Dwayne Johnson to “Shut the F**k Up” and It Changed His Acting Career Forever

Black Adam is a dream project of Dwayne Johnson and he is promoting the movie very extensively. Moreover, along with his character, The Rock will share the screen with the most awaited team in the DCEU, The Justice Society of America.

Many Hollywood actors consider Johnson to be one of the easiest people to work with. However, a Black Adam co-star ranted on The Rock during the initial days of this project.

A month ago, actor Aldis Hodge, who is playing Hawkman in Black Adam, recalled an incident. He shared the story of him using some cuss words on Dwayne Johnson, thinking he was someone else.

Hodge reminisces, “I had auditioned and there was a couple weeks where there was radio silence so I thought that I didn’t get it. And somebody had been playing on my phone, sending me really random messages like, ‘Hey, this is such-and-such.’ And then they would do it again. And then D.J. called, like, ‘Hey, this is D.J.’”

The Hawkman actor added, “I’m like, ‘Bro, I’m done. I don’t have time. Stop f***ing around with my phone.’ I said some things. … I said, ‘Bro, stop playing with me!’ And he’s like, ‘No, for real, this is D.J.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, s***. I messed up.’”

Hodge thought Johnson was calling him to tell him the producers have found an actor to play Hawkman. However, the WWE legend was calling him to tell, “Welcome to Black Adam.”

Aldis Hodge was over the moon hearing this, as this project meant a lot to him. He called back DJ to thank him for the opportunity. Black Adam is a project that was in talks for 10 years and Hodge too wanted to be a part of the same.

Dwayne Johnson gets a positive response at the Black Adam screen test

Dwayne Johnson shared the video of him being revealed at the end of screen testing. Moreover, he interacted with the fans and ask their views about the film.

One of the fans said, “It’s hard for someone that goes to movie theaters and really thinks this is not the actor, this is the actual superhero. That’s something that I think you did. Like you accomplished it.”

Surprisingly, Johnson seemed so thrilled after watching Black Adam for the first time with the fans, and he loved the experience. Moreover, the fans were clapping at the end and even said ‘Great Movie’ upon asking how the film was. This made DJ very much happy.
