“Hopefully We’ll Be Back…”: Former WWE Star Big Show Provides Update on His In-Ring Return Six Months After Knee Replacement Surgery
Wrestling stars are very much in the frame when it comes to injuries. Pro wrestlers are always putting themselves on the line to provide entertainment to sport enthusiasts. There isn’t much debate about how risky their work is. Several pro wrestlers who have wrestled their way through their younger age are now facing immense issues due to the line of work. This even includes the great Hulk Hogan, who has suffered several injuries in the past and now is battling even more surgeries. Similarly, the former WWE champion and legend ‘The Big Show’ Paul Wight has also been suffering from a lot of pain as he is aging up.
The wrestler has had several surgeries, including a hip surgery. And if this wasn’t enough for the fans to sympathize with the wrestler, it turns out that he also went through some LASIK eye surgery. However, considering all the problems, he still stands strong in the wrestling world and promises to return to the ring soon.

Paul returning to the ring to create another ‘Big Show’
The Giant has been in the world of sports entertainment for pretty long. Even though he has worked with other promotions apart from the WWE, he is still the most notable for his work there. The pro wrestler had his last bout in WWE in the year 2021 after he decided to switch promotions. Along with this switch, he also decided to retire from the ring. This decision was a follow up to the several surgeries that the wrestler has to suffer from. However, Big Show has decided to make his big re-entry.

“That knee was bad for 12 years, so it could’ve gone any day. It’s like kind of like that tire on your car that you know you should change but keep driving anyway. But, we’re good now, and hopefully, we’ll be back in the ring in March. Everything’s on schedule, so we’re looking good,” explained the wrestling legend. It looks like he will be leaving the commentary line of work soon.
