Tonight’s Monday Night Raw kick-started with a rather melancholic note with Mami announcing a shell-shocking truth. Rhea Ripley, 27, is legit injured, and she’s not the WWE Women’s World Champion anymore. Before the red brand extravaganza aired live from the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Canada, reports emerged suggesting that The Eradicator had suffered a serious tear in his shoulder while butting heads with Liv Morgan backstage. Now, as the Judgement Day member officially relinquished her title, fans wonder when she will be back to the fore.

Rhea Ripley’s expected return timeline: Explained

While the exact timeline of a recovery is still unknown, Mami stormed to the ring and announced that as Liv Morgan attacked her last week, she has been destined to be on the bench for several months. To everyone’s disbelieve, Mami then told she has to do the most painful thing which is to vacate the one thing that means the most to her, her WWE Women’s World Championship.

Punk himself has been out of action for a while now. In the final moments of the Men’s Royal Rumble match, Punk suffered a torn tricep and eventually missed his WrestleMania spot. While The Second City Saint’s potential return was initially slated to come around 6–8 months, as per the recent developments, it seems he could be back to the fold in July this year and resume his boiling rivalry with Drew Mclntyre.

The much-awaited Drew Mclntyre-CM Punk clash could take place at The Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam 2024.
