Next week on Monday Night RAW, Lynch will face Stratton, and the winner will face a returning Tegan Nox. Nox has been out of action for three months now, since July of this year. The match between Lynch and Stratton will be a qualifier and not a title deciding match.

Lynch won the NXT Women’s Championship on the September 12 episode of NXT against Stratton. This will be their rematch, with the winner taking on Nox for the title. Fans are excited about the rematch and the upcoming match with Nox.

This was Lynch’s first NXT Women’s title win. This earned her the Grand Slam title. The NXT Women’s title is something that eluded her during her time in NXT. She stated in multiple interviews since her call-up that she did not think she would ever win the Grand Slam title due to this.

Tegan Nox’s run and return

Nox had her first appearance in TNA in 2013 and continued in multiple promotions until 2017. She made her  NXT debut in April of the same year. Unfortunately for Nox, she has been injury-prone, which has put her out of action multiple times. During the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament, she suffered from a torn ACL, MCL, lateral collateral ligament, meniscus, and patellar dislocation.

During the 2021 Draft, Nox was placed on the RAW brand, but in November, she was released from the company. She made a return the next year in December but on SmackDown. During the 2023 Draft, she was moved back to RAW and now will compete for Lynch’s title.
