Recently, Hogan took to social media to enthusiastically inform the viewers that Jimmy Hart will be at Hogan’s Hangout for Karaoke Night. Undoubtedly, if The Hulkster is ready to do some karaoke, he’s definitely feeling better.

Moreover, Hogan has been making more trips to his Florida Beach Shop to hang out with the fans who come by. Recently, he met up with a fan who has been a Hulkamaniac from a very young age!

Vince McMahon chose Hulk Hogan to fulfill his vision

When McMahon took over WWE, his vision was to take it beyond the territories and make the product available to everyone in the nation and globally. Therefore, he needed someone who was well known and people would tune in for. This is when he chose Hulk Hogan.

On January 23rd, 1984, The Hulkster battled The Iron Sheik and became the new WWE Champion to kick start Hulkamania. Sometimes it seems that The Iron Sheik is still bitter about that loss!

The fans went wild whenever he was in the ring, viewers tuned in, he was on other shows promoting the product, and overall, Hulk Hogan became the poster-boy for WWE.

While he was actively working with the company, Hogan reached different heights. As the face of the company, Hogan had many responsibilities on his shoulders to make sure the fans were continuously engaging with WWE.

Moreover, Vince McMahon knew he struck gold as soon as Hogan’s big win against The Iron Sheik became the most important match in the company’s history. That was the turning point in WWE’s growth, which truly embraced McMahon’s vision.

Even Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, believes Hogan vs Sheik in 1984 at Madison Square Garden was the most important match.

What is The Hulkster doing now?

Currently, he’s staying at his home, recovering from his health problems. It’s unknown if he plans to come back to WWE for an appearance.

However, he’s actively going to his Beach Shop and working closely with the team for limited edition products.
