Hulk Hogan Once Glorified Sylvester Stallone For Doing What Dwayne Johnson Could Not Do in Red Notice: “Stallone Was Just Like One of the Guys”

Hulk Hogan is one of the most popular and widely known pro wrestlers of all time. His illustrated career speaks for itself. Hogan made his debut back in the 1970s, and soon rose to prominence while becoming one of the biggest stars in the company.

His impressive physique and amazing charisma helped him shine in his career, and reach new heights. Throughout his career, Hogan has main-evented multiple WrestleManias while winning several championships and awards. Apart from wrestling, Hogan has also been an active part of reality tv and Hollywood.

Hulk Hogan became a popular face after starring as Thunderlips in 1892 film, Rocky 3. Hogan starred in the film for small cameo role, however, still was able to steal the scene with his brilliant physique and his charisma.

Soon, Hogan would become a household name, and people would want to know more about the film. Around 5 years ago, in 2018, Hulk Hogan was alongside Jimmy Hart at the ACE Comic-Con. During the event, a fan would ask Hogan about the film. And, The Hulkster would reveal an interesting fact about the film, and an extremely dangerous risk that Stallone took while filming.

Hogan would state during the shooting, Stallone would not use stunt doubles, and perform his own stunts, despite bleeding.

Hogan said, “he just got the hell beat out of him. And at that time I was 28-years-old, 320 pounds. I was a little crazy back then, and I mean I really laid into him and I mean whether his nose was bleeding or he spit up blood one, you saw that, ‘That was great, let’s do it again’.”

Stallone was one of the most popular action-hero of that era. Unlike, Dwayne Johnson, who is one of the popular action-hero of this era, Stallone preferred not using stunt doubles. Even for his latest film, Black Adam and Red Notice, Johnson had used his stunt double, Tanoai Reed, who had been with Johnson ever since the movie ‘The Scorpion King’.

John Cena and Hulk Hogan are two of the greatest WWE Superstars of all-time. Both these legends have garnered hoards of accolades, championships and other records. During the same aforementioned Comic-Con, Hogan was asked by a fan, whom he would like to face.

Hulk Hogan without thinking for a moment, answered two names, one of them being John Cena. Hogan stated that he was supposed to face Cena, however, prior to the match, his back gave in. However, if possible, it would one such match that he wants to have.
