“I Am Actually Surprised”: Rhea Ripley Makes a Shocking Claim About 48-Year-Old WWE Legend Ahead of Royal Rumble

A lot of chaos is going around the first Premium Live Event of 2023. Fans are guessing about the wrestlers who can be a part of Royal Rumble while WWE superstars are dropping some hints here and there. One such hint is recently dropped by Rhea Ripley through a video where she was found training a former SmackDown Champion for the Rumble. Not only did she reveal the contender, but also makes a shocking claim about a WWE legend. 

In the last few months, this duo has always been in the news because of their actions. The chemistry they share is visible to all. Ripley calls his partner ‘Dom-Dom,’ while she is ‘Mami’ for him. Yes, we are talking about no one else but the young Mysterio. Among the 30 wrestlers in the Royal Rumble, one contender is Dominik Mysterio, as revealed. However, it’s more interesting to watch The Eradicator train him to be the last star standing in the match.

A few hours back, WWE released footage of the two members of The Judgement Day, one training the other. In the video, the RAW Women’s Champion taunted Rey Mysterio while complimenting his real-life son. 

She said, “Teaching Dominik has been a breeze, he is a very fast learner. I am actually surprised that Rey did not try more with him. He wasn’t teaching him the ways of the world and how to get better. That’s what we are here for. He’s been excelling and exceeding and he’s made it further than he ever would have been if he was with his father still.”

Being a runner-up in WWE Women’s Royal Rumble 2021, the 26-year-old knows the tricks of surviving in the Rumble. She passed on her skills and wisdom to Dominik while he put in the hard work and sends brutal messages to his father. 

The bitter relationship of the Mysterios

The released video also shed light on the 25-year-old’s anger toward his father. He then also mentioned that The Nightmare has taught her to deal with him. The young Mysterio then erupted and revealed that his father never shared a word of advice with him. Despite being one of the long-lasting wrestlers of Royal Rumble, The Ultimate Underdog never helped his son. 

Now, it’s evident that the father-son relationship has turned bitter. So much that Dominik predicted throwing his father over the top rope in the mega-event.
