Day in and day out, Charlotte Flair continues to prove that she is currently the best performer in WWE. That’s not just in terms of her incredible in ring skills, the Queen has been carrying the company in the absence of some very big names like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch.

After she put on a fantastic match against Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai at NXT Takeover, Flair was back on Monday Night Raw. In fact, she participated in not one but two matches. One of these was the main event.

What became clear is that after proving her mettle on NXT, the Queen is back on Raw to add some much needed star power to the red brand. She faced off against Asuka in the match of the night and lay the foundation of what is expected to be a great rivalry.

What happened in the match between Asuka and Charlotte Flair?

It was a pretty good back and forth contest before Nia Jax decided to spoil the party. The irresistible force is all set to face Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at Backlash.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Charlotte captured a much needed victory. The rivalry is intriguing on a lot of levels because of the history between the two women. Charlotte ended the much hyped undefeated streak of Asuka at Wrestlemania.

After the end of Raw, Charlotte raised the clarion call for an upcoming battle. She also claimed, and rightfully so, that she was the main event wherever she went.

“Whether I’m at NXT, whether I am here tonight at Raw or Smackdown, it doesn’t matter where I am, I’m always on top. I am always the hardest worker in the room, I am always the main event. Because I am Charlotte Flair.”

While some might find this feud repetitive, it’s much needed to inject some life to the Raw Women’s division after the departure of Becky Lynch. The Queen Charlotte Flair brings credibility along with her. Do you think this storyline will work on Raw?
