“I Am P***ed Off”: Mercedes Mone Once Shared Her Initial Reaction of Ronda Rousey Almost Putting Her Out of Action Before WrestleMania 35

Mercedes Mone, aka Sasha Banks, is one of the most popular pro wrestlers in the current industry. Last year, however, she fell into deep waters after having a fallout with the management. She then walked out of the company, along with Naomi. Back then, both Banks and Naomi were the tag-team champions, but as soon as they walked out, their titles were scrapped.

Recently, Mone announced her arrival in Japan, and defeated Kairi to win the title. Banks winning the gold made her rise more to the action and established her as a major star in Japan. The former WWE superstar was a megastar in WWE as well.

However, around 4 years ago, Banks found herself on the verge of missing WrestleMania. However, it did not happen so, but Banks was extremely angry about what inspired the events. Speaking to Stone Cold Steve Austin on his podcast, the 31-year-old revealed the incident.

Banks revealed that she had potentially injured her arm and shoulder while being in a match with Ronda Rousey. The Boss further opened up to the Texan Rattlesnake that she was extremely angry at what Rousey had done to her, and how she could not compete for the tag-team titles.

What did Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Mone claim about her on potentially missing WrestleMania 35 due to an injury?

Banks said, “I am on the fly. I am pissed off. I am like, ‘No!’ I thought I was going so well and just at the end I felt my arm, I was like ‘No!’. I was so scared to even ask what’s wrong with that cause I never felt this feeling before. It was so weird.”

Furthermore, her dedication towards the game was proven when she, rather than fearing about her injury or health, started focussing more on her tag titles. Banks was once one of the most dedicated performers on the roster and was extremely fond of her tag-titles.

However, at WrestleMania 35, Bayley and Banks would lose their titles to The IIconics. While Bayley is now scheduled to face Lynch, Stratus and Lita at ‘Mania 39 alongside her Damage CTRL, Banks is currently a huge name in Japan.
