Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley reacts to Bayley vs Nikki Cross match
According to Bubba, both Superstars had a good match. In fact, both Nikki Cross and Bayley are starting to rise and shine as they should. Even though the match escalated to a different level towards the end.
Nikki Cross got punched out with boss knocks. However, those were enough for her to keep Cross pinned for the 3 counts.
Furthermore, every Superstar across the board in the Women’s division is getting an opportunity to prove themselves.
This is primarily because currently Charlotte Flair’s shadow does not loom over them.
“Now that Charlotte’s shadow isn’t looming over everybody, When you have a mega-star like a Charlotte Flair, you know, she’ll take up a lot of that TV time and she should. She’s earned it. But now that she is on the shelf for a while, I think you’re seeing Bayley step up. I think you are seeing Sasha step up. Asuka, Nikki, all these women are getting an opportunity to go out there and show just how talented they are. I thought Nikki and Bayley did a good job.”

Bubba’s opinion is that all of the Superstars in the Women’s division are performing quite well. All of them are stepping up their game and there has been considerable improvement.
“Bayley is really good in the middle of that ring. Sasha is really good in the middle of that ring. Asuka, really good. A host of women, yeah. I definitely have seen an improvement in Bayley. I think I am seeing more of the NXT version of Bayley right now than I ever have.”
