Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson can arguably be called the reigning ‘Scorpion King’ in the world of movies. The transition from being a WWE superstar to becoming Hollywood’s highest-paid actor was difficult for him. Yet, the People’s Champion conquered the mountain much like he did inside the squared circle.

But can you guess something similar that The Rock had to face in Hollywood that he did in WWE? Heated feuds. The only difference here was that it was for real and not scripted. But still, loggerheads did not prevail for long, and Johnson managed to patch things up with his contemporary.

Which actor settled their differences with The Rock?

The Rock has played incredible acting roles in films like Jumanji, Black Adam, and Baywatch. However, one of his notable roles is probably DSS agent Luke Hobbs in the Fast and Furious franchise. The Rock made his debut in Fast Five and appeared in the next three installments. Following the success of his character, he became more inclined to do his own spin-off film, called Hobbs and Shaw alongside Jason Statham.

This reportedly led to The Rock being involved in a highly publicized feud with lead producer and series protagonist Vin Diesel. Moreover, this also attracted a lot of heat for Johnson from another co-star, Tyrese Gibson. Mr. Roman Pearce of the Fast Family reportedly even stated that he would quit the franchise if The Rock returned.

However, in an interview with Comedy Central in 2021, Tyrese cleared the air and announced that he and The Rock have finally “peaced out.”

“Me and The Rock peaced up. We talked for like four hours about three weeks ago. Yeah, we talked… It was great. What’s interesting about the Fast & Furious is, it’s not about any of us individually. See, we’re like the U.N. at this point. Everyone gets to go to the theater and say he and she looks like me. I did it with Tej. Then who are we going to play off of? But I just couldn’t make it about me.”

Tyrese’s statement conveyed that he and The Rock put aside their real-life differences for the bigger picture, the film franchise. Moreover, Johnson has seemingly cleared the air with Diesel after appearing in the latest entry of the franchise in a cameo role.

The Rock will be there at the end of the Fast road

As mentioned, The Rock and Tyrese Gibson are back on the same page. But that was not the only beef that was solved. Vin Diesel also clarified things with the former WWE champion. The Rock’s repaired relationship was very much evident at the end of the latest installment in the franchise, Fast X.

The Rock appeared in the post-credits scene of the tenth Fast film, returning as the ruthless  Luke Hobbs. As Jason Momoa’s Dante Reyes stated in the scene, Hobbs was his next target being the one to shoot his father, Hernan Reyes. This clearly meant that he would join the Fast family on the road to the end.
