However, one of his now close friends and co-star, Kevin Hart once had a unique plan to make Dwayne resolve those issues, naming one particular Hollywood actor.

Dwayne’s portrayal of DSS agent Luke Hobbs earned him massive praise. He used that role as an opportunity to do exhilarating films like San Andreas, Jumanji, and other installments of the Fast and Furious franchise. However, The Rock desired to do his own spin-off series of the franchise. Moreover, he put it on priority above the main Fast films. Therefore, he reportedly got him into a real-life feud with leading producer, Vin Diesel, and even his co-star, Tyrese Gibson.

The heat between The Rock and Tyrese went to an extreme level that the latter had even stated that he would quit the franchise if Johnson returned. However, The Rock’s co-star, Kevin Hart once had a brilliant yet bizarre idea to solve the matter between the two.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Dotty in 2020, she asked Kevin what he would do if he got to be in The Rock’s body for 24 hours. Hart used the opportunity to list down numerous things, including patching up things with Tyrese Gibson.

“Imma go to Fast 26 … Fast and Furious 26 … Imma go (“you and Tyrese” said The Rock) yeah me and Tyrese … Imma go and make it work … so he has to come back the next day … I didn’t fix this sh*t … I didn’t do it … he would have to deal with everything I did.”

While Kevin Hart jokingly stated the above, he did mention that it would be Johnson who would have to deal with what he does, spending time in his body. Nevertheless, the WWE legend made his return to the Fast franchise with its latest entry.

The Rock is back in the Fast Family

The Rock’s highly public feud with his Fast co-stars led him to exit the franchise after ‘The Fate of the Furious’ film. He then starred in the spin-off series ‘Hobbs and Shaw alongside Jason Statham. It seemed like the former WWE champion would never return to Vin Diesel and his cast in the future.

However, all that changed with the release of the latest installment, Fast X. The Rock made a cameo appearance at the end of the film, returning as Luke Hobbs. This definitely means that he would appear in the remaining Fast films and maybe his feud with Tyrese Gibson and Vin Diesel is over.
