“I Didn’t Really Feel I Had the Best Thing”: Top WWE Star Expressed Displeasure Over His WWE Championship Run Under Vince McMahon’s Reign

With the rumors of Vince McMahon‘s return to the WWE Universe, fans are currently extremely worried. Last year, McMahon retired after many allegations of sexual misconduct and hush money payments rose against him.

However, earlier this year McMahon made his return as the chairman of the company. However, no sooner did he make his comeback fans started noticing the fall in the product’s quality. It is rumored that McMahon ran things backstage during the Night 2 of WrestleMania 39, and the RAW after that.

The reason for dread among fans is that previously unfortunately, under Vince McMahon’s reign, several deserving superstars would be looked down upon and were not given their deserving push.

For example, former WWE Champion Big E recently revealed his displeasure with his World Title reign under Vince McMahon. Both Big E and Kofi Kingston were fed to Brock Lesnar during their reign and had their pushes ended abruptly.

Speaking in an interview, the 37-year-old revealed how he believed he could have done a lot more during his championship reign. He repeatedly showed his displeasure over his reign, although he was also grateful for the opportunities that he received.

What displeasure did Big E reveal about his championship reign under Vince McMahon?

Fans are currently worried about the return of McMahon, and it is possible that he has already made his way back into the creative of the company. Vince McMahon has been blamed for ruining the push of several superstars, and one among them was Big E. Big E was extremely over when he lost to Brock Lesnar in order to accelerate the rivalry between The Beast and Bobby Lashley.

Speaking on the podcast, Big E claimed, ” It was a great learning experience for me. It was one of those things, if I’m being honest, I wanted more. I didn’t really feel I had the best thing. You know I felt like there was a lot of meat left on the bone, a lot more we could have done there.”

He further said, ” So, for me in many ways I wanted more out of the reign, and felt like a lot more could have been accomplished in ring and on TV, on SmackDown, on RAW.” The former WWE Champion would also speak about being grateful to everybody, especially The New Day without whom he could not have done this.
