Lee is currently on a sabbatical from WWE. He was last seen around February as he was announced for the United States Championship match at Elimination Chamber. But an injury made him withdraw from the match.

Recently, Mia Yim was a guest on D-Von Dudley’s Table Talk Podcast and was asked how Lee was doing. To this, she gave a suspicious reply, “He [Keith Lee’s] doing good, he’s doing good. I’m not gonna comment much about it until he says some stuff. But, he’s doing good.”
This remark definitely raises more questions on the status of Lee. WWE is probably revamping his gimmick completely, or he could be stuck in creative limbo.

A creative limbo is when the creative team has run out of their ideas, or their original idea was scrapped and they don’t know what to do with a certain character.
Initially, Lee was introduced as a babyface under the gimmick of the “Limitless One.” However, before his break, WWE teased a heel turn. Now, fans have to wait and see what is going on.
