WWE Superstar Keith Lee has been in the pro wrestling business for six years now. Ahead of his tenure in WWE, Lee wrestled in Ring of Honor, Evolve, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

Lee is currently on a sabbatical from WWE. He was last seen around February as he was announced for the United States Championship match at Elimination Chamber. But an injury made him withdraw from the match.

Now, fans are patiently awaiting his return. There have been some speculations about his health and why WWE is not featuring him. However, no one knows what is going on and whether the ‘Limitless One’ is still recovering from his injury or not.

On Friday, Lee shared a throwback to his days wrestling in Europe ahead of WWE. He also hinted at some struggles, “I didn’t really know what to expect back then. As I reflect on this moment… I realize it’s all still the same… A FIGHT.”

Keith Lee is a onetime NXT and onetime NXT North American Champion. Ahead of last year’s SummerSlam, Lee lost his NXT Title to Karrion Kross and moved to RAW.

WWE Superstar reacts to the absence of Keith Lee

While there are speculations about Lee, there is someone who could provide an update. Lee’s fiance and fellow wrestler, Mia Yim, aka Reckoning, shared some interesting insight into the suspicious absence.

Lee had a great start at the main roster. He feuded with the likes of Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and more. But he left suddenly.

Recently, Mia Yim was a guest on D-Von Dudley’s Table Talk Podcast and was asked how Lee was doing. To this, she gave a suspicious reply, “He [Keith Lee’s] doing good, he’s doing good. I’m not gonna comment much about it until he says some stuff. But, he’s doing good.”

This remark definitely raises more questions on the status of Lee. WWE is probably revamping his gimmick completely, or he could be stuck in creative limbo.

A creative limbo is when the creative team has run out of their ideas, or their original idea was scrapped and they don’t know what to do with a certain character.

Initially, Lee was introduced as a babyface under the gimmick of the “Limitless One.” However, before his break, WWE teased a heel turn. Now, fans have to wait and see what is going on.
