Pat McAfee recalls meeting John Cena

He recalls John Cena walking in and sitting right behind him. Of course, getting the chance to meet John Cena is an overwhelming moment for any professional wrestling enthusiast. Cena is probably one of the biggest legends to have stepped foot inside the ring.

“There was one time I was sitting in Gorilla, Michael Cole was trying to show me how it all works and you know, I just happen to be sitting there and John Cena walked in. John Cena walked in the Gorilla. And I had just watched Ferdinand, like two days before that which doesn’t get enough credit for how good of a movie it is.”

Now, after John Cena walked in, Michael Cole introduced him to Pat McAfee. The former NFL star reveals how surreal of a feeling it was to meet legends who keep walking into the building.

“He walks in and he sits right behind me, right. So as soon as he sits down he’s right behind I’m like ‘I should probably not be sitting where I am at. Why is he behind me? Like I feel like, weird.’ So he comes up to shake Micheal, Cole’s hand or whatever and Micheal introduces me to him. I’m like ‘hey John Ferdinand was a banger.’ That’s literally the first thing I say. I think he was like thanks. He was super kind.”
