The video becomes more entertaining as his co star Emily Blunt tries to manage him.

Owner of the billion-dollar valued tequila brand Teremana, Dwayne Johnson once found himself in a vulnerable spot. During the promotions of Jungle Cruise from a few years ago, fans found Johnson trying hard to find his sobriety.

The video going viral on Twitter saw, a visibly drunk Dwayne Johnson trying to tell a pun but failing badly every time. His co-actress Emily Blunt would come to his rescue, and manage him. Johnson would begin the pun with, “Right, so I saw a girl right? I had to break up with her.”

As Johnson fumbled while delivering his pun, Blunt said,“You already f***ed it up.” To which, Johnson replied, ” I f***ed it up. I drank too much already this morning. “ Blunt would show her support, and encourage Johnson, “okay he’s drunk. Okay go on let’s try it again.”

However, as the 51-year-old kept failing, Blunt would claim, “See this is what I mean. Do you think he calls himself the pun-slinger. This is the worst sling of a pun I’ve ever seen.” The video portrayed a completely unknown side of Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson messing up his lines is a rare sight but humorous enough to make the fans fall on the floor laughing. Emily Blunt and Johnson share a good friendship as well, and it was evident when the former showed her belief in Johnson winning an Oscar in the future.

Dwayne Johnson is known for his commercial and mainstream films. Although Johnson has won multiple awards in his career, he is yet to bag an Oscar. During Blunt’s latest film Oppenheimer’s Promotions, she made a remark about The Rock potentially winning an Oscar in the future.

She said, “I wanna see Dwayne Johnson rip the face of something in Oppenheimer. I’m telling you, I’ve told him, ‘You are gonna win the Oscar one day!’ I know it. You wait.” Blunt is a great friend and believes in Johnson’s talent. Now, only time shall tell if Dwayne Johnson could live up to Blunt’s belief in him.
