Interesting matches are always a part of WWE’s plans. Every PPV has a couple of matches whose build up is quite amazing. One match which is going to be interesting to watch at WrestleMania Backlash is Bianca Belair vs. Bayley.
Several fans thought Sasha Banks would get a rematch against Bianca Belair after Banks lost the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship to Belair. However, WWE booked Bayley against ‘The EST of WWE’ for WrestleMania Backlash 2021.
While Belair will focus on defending the title with all her might, Bayley will take out her WrestleMania frustration on the current SmackDown Women’s Champion.

“Bianca better be scared. I had to sit back in the crowd and watch Bianca Belair main event WrestleMania. Let alone win a main event WrestleMania Championship match against a girl that I’ve come up with all these years. You think that was good for me? You think that made me feel good? No. I’m taking it all out on her on Sunday. Okay?”

Undoubtedly, she is waiting to show Bianca Belair the things she’s capable of inside the ring. However, previously, Bayley revealed that she has utmost respect for Belair and the things she can do.
Bayley wasn’t Bianca Belair’s first choice
Belair would have probably gotten a rematch against Sasha Banks for WrestleMania Backlash considering she really wanted one. Her idea was to defeat Banks again to prove her win at WrestleMania wasn’t by fluke.
Of course, Bayley wanted to get under Belair’s skin, and she succeeded. Now, it’s going to be a match where the new champion will continue her reign or a former champion will restore her previous glory.

Point to note here is this will not be the first time the Superstars face each other. Belair was the last person Bayley defeated in a singles match. After a long wait, she defeated Belair at a recent SmackDown episode.
It’s possible WWE is trying to bring the storyline to a full circle.

Currently, it’s unclear if Sasha Banks will play a role in this at WrestleMania Backlash. She definitely wants to be champion again, and Bayley and Belair are two of the powerful names on the SmackDown Women’s roster.
However, a triple threat match seems unlikely since Banks hasn’t yet intervened in any of the promos or segments that the other two cut together.
