“I Have a Lot of Guns”: Dwayne Johnson Channels His Attitude Era Persona in a Tense Exchange With Police Officers

There is no one bigger than the law. And when it comes to those implementing it, even the celebrities are not immune to it. There have been multiple instances of famous personalities coming across the cops. WWE legend and actor Dwayne Johnson recently had his share of experience.

He underwent a very tough schedule during the initial matches of his XFL. To add to that, ‘The Great One’ had a brush in with the bomb squad as well. But he channeled his Attitude Era persona to deal with the tense moment .

Dwayne Johnson has a hilarious interaction with the authorities

The officer in charge asked Johnson, who was also driving to open his car’s hood. To it, the wrestler-turned-actor had a fun-filled reply. “I can, I have lots of guns in this, (stretching his biceps) these kinds, There’s always room for a cheesy joke, I know, you’re welcome (laughing)“. He is never shy to display his funny side, even in front of police officers.

The People’s Champ posted the whole incident on his Instagram account. Apart from describing the instance, he also thanked the authorities for keeping people safe.

The inaugural game of the XFL saw Arlington Raiders getting the best of Vegas Vipers with a 22-20 triumph. The match was attended by Johnson, who is the co-owner of the league, along with Dani Garcia and Dani Cardinale’s RedBird Capital.

A busier and hopefully much more successful 2023 awaits

On the work front, Johnson would be seen in the Amazon Prime movie Red One. He will be starring in the Christmas movie along with Chris Evans and the legendary JK Simmons. The Brahma Bull would be hoping for a change in fortune considering how the end of 2022 went for him. His dream project, Black Adam’s sequel, won’t become a reality as per the new regime at DCEU.

There were also talks of a return to the squared circle for Johnson. He was expected to return at WrestleMania 39 and face nephew Roman Reigns. But those plans look all but over as second-generation superstar Cody Rhodes is headlining ‘The Showcase of The Immortals’.

Irrespective of that, Dwayne Johnson always has a lot on his plate. His meet-up with the authorities was unexpected. But as the true professional that he is, he took it on a lighter note. Johnson’s funny reply even brought out a smile to the officer’s face while at it.
