Ever since he took the championship from Hulk Hogan to his many feuds with Steve Austin, Edge, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, his relation to the title was also beneficial to both people. But The Undertaker winning the title never made him a greater star. He was already a great star.
The Undertaker reveals his motivation boost from championships at home
One of the most fascinating questions that wrestlers often get asked is about the memorabilia in their house. When Stone Cold Steve Austin asked this to The Undertaker on the Broken Skull Sessions, the Phenom had some choice words that really define Mark Calaway as a person.

The Deadman said, “So, in my house, in the main living spots of my house, I have no memorabilia whatsoever. In my gym is where I put everything. And I have to share that with my wife, which is totally fine because I’d rather look at pictures of her than me, anyway. But I have the two versions of the world title. They’re in cases and they’re on the wall.”

He continued, “So I have them, but I think the gym, not a lot of people go up there. And it was nice when I was training to get ready for something. Yeah, it’s nice to see that stuff up there and the pictures just reminds, okay, this is who you are and this is what you could do. Feed off of that, because at the end here you look for everything you can to feed off of to get through those workouts and everything else.”
