In this week’s episode of RAW, WWE RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos viciously attacked Matt Riddle. The phenomenal one and his partner came out to the ring during the singles match between Matt Riddle and John Morrison. However, AJ and Omos constantly created distractions, and at one point, Omos broke Matt’s heart with his actions.

Omos broke the scooter that Riddle rides around into two halves, as a brutal AJ Styles lauded his partner’s actions with glee. Morrison took advantage of the distractions and won the match. After the match, AJ and Omos attacked Matt, and Styles hit Riddle with a styles clash to add insult to the wound.

AJ Styles and Omos reveal their reasons for their actions

AJ and Omos appeared on this week’s RAW talk, and the host asked for an explanation for their actions on Riddle. Styles replied by stating that he never liked Riddle and his attitude. AJ added- “I just don’t like the guy. He has a sweet tooth, he carries around gummy bears all the time. I just don’t like him.”

Omos also had a say about his actions and the reason for destroying Matt’s Scooter. He said that he just wanted to do it, and that was it. Omos responded- “Because I wanted to and It was awesome.” The tag team champions of RAW had a busy night as they fought the Viking raiders and won the match convincingly.

WWE planting the seeds for a SummerSlam showdown

Multiple reports suggested that WWE was looking to place The RK Bro in the tag team title picture at SummerSlam. But the heat of the news went a bit down when Randy Orton started to be a constant absentee from WWE RAW. Orton’s hiatus is unknown, but WWE has always mentioned Randy Orton even in his absence via his tag team partner Matt Riddle.

With this altercation that happened on this week’s RAW between Riddle and Styles, WWE has undoubtedly made their move for a showdown between RK Bro and AJ and Omos. The crowd in the arena chanted Randy Orton’s name in the hope of seeing the veteran save Matt from the beat down. Unfortunately, Randy was nowhere to be seen, which left Riddle all alone. The fans can certainly see the writing on the wall as WWE looks to book a match between the two tag teams for SummerSlam 2021.
