Both Cesaro and Daniel Bryan came from nowhere to become WWE’s top stars. While Bryan headlined WrestleMania twice already, some might say Cesaro is on his way. However, what is Daniel Bryan’s opinion of the Swiss Superman?

Prior to Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania inclusion, he had a mini-feud with Cesaro. The two former Ring of Honor stars assembled two mini-classics on SmackDown, worthy of getting a place on a PPV card. Despite Cesaro winning the feud, it was Bryan who ended up getting the big title match at WrestleMania.

Despite the injustice, Daniel Bryan had only pleasant things to say about Cesaro in a recent interview with BT Sport.

“I was super proud of Cesaro, right and how well he did and Rollins too, right, Rollins is great, you know. But like Rollins has gotten a lot of WrestleMania opportunities and Cesaro for whatever reasons hasn’t. So I was super happy for him, and that was one of my favourite things over the weekend. “

“I think Cesaro could have had a moment anytime we decided to give him a moment. That’s my belief. My belief is like, ‘hey he’s so good and so outstanding you give him a chance to shine and he’s going to shine. And you give him a win over somebody who has a little bit of credibility and that sort of thing, it’s gonna feel like a big moment.”

“Whether that’s me or whether that’s someone else, I think he was gonna have that moment, regardless. If we get behind him; I just think the world of him both as a performer and as a human being. Asking me about Cesaro is not going to get you an unbiased answer. You’re just gonna get me gushing about how great he is.”

After months of chasing the WWE Universal Championship for months and three unsuccessful attempts, Daniel Bryan gets his last chance at the Universal Title. If he loses, he will be banished from SmackDown.

Roman Reigns issued the challenge to Bryan after slighting Cesaro. Bryan claimed Reigns feared Cesaro, hence he didn’t want to face him. To exact revenge, Roman plans to have Bryan kicked out of the blue brand.
