John Cena is one of the most famous and well-known entities in WWE. Cena made his debut for WWE in 2002, and ever since then, he has rocked the wrestling world. His wrestling and mic skills have helped him rise to the top, and made him one of the greatest. After having a failed career in bodybuilding, Cena chose pro wrestling as his second option. However, this decision of his turned out to be an extremely successful one, and Cena carved himself as one of the legends in the sport.

Cena had been the face of WWE for a fairly large amount of time, and one of the favourites. Apart from being in WWE and Hollywood, Cena is also extremely active on social media. However, during an interview with Corey Graves in 2020, he opened up on the effects social media has on wrestling.

The 45-year-old said, ” your social emotions are not what they are in the arena, I know that first hand dude. When you are at the edge of your seat, and you are lost in your championship fight and something happens. And maybe you think the title is gonna switch and it doesn’t, you stand and you catch yourself going.”

He further said, ” And then tweet like that ‘that was BS or whatever’. Your keyboard emotions aren’t necessarily the same as watching it live. ” A veteran of wrestling for more than 20 years, John Cena is aware of the in and out of pro wrestling, and it was evident when he explained the difference between watching wresling, live and on social media.

John Cena posted a cryptic tweet and supported Vince McMahon amidst rumors of selling WWE to Saudi Arabia

Vince McMahon retired from WWE last year after a series of sexual misconduct allegations and hush money payment allegations rose against him. However, earlier this year, McMahon made his return to WWE, and found his way to the top as well.

McMahon joined the Board and became the chairman as well. It is now rumored that Vince McMahon is planning to sell-off the company to Saudi Arabia. However, his most loyal soldier, John Cena, stood up and came to his support.

Cena altered his famous catchphrase and used it to support Vince McMahon. Cena was at his lowest when Vince McMahon picked him up, and turned him into a star. Similarly, during his tough times, John Cena stood by him.
