“I Lost My Dad”: Dwayne Johnson Reveals How Black Adam Helped Him Cope Up With His Father’s Death

Black Adam is just around the corner and has the fans fired up about what it has in store. Dwayne Johnson has been engaged with the film now for a long time, and fans need to wait and see if that will bear any fruit. It is one of the most hyped films of the year and is slated for release later this month.

While shooting for Black Adam, his father passed away. In an interview, Johnson narrated how Black Adam helped him cope with his father’s passing away. When the host asked what did he take away from the character Black Adam, after he was done shooting, the actor has some emotional words to share.

Johnson said, “Kevin, you know as I was preparing for this role, I lost my dad. … He raised me with a tough tough love.” He said how the both of them shared a complicated relationship, and he did not a chance to bid him goodbye after he passed away, neither did he get to reconcile with him about the things people go through with their loved ones.

Dwayne Johnson continued, “So, and the reason why I tie all this together is because there is a way about Black Adam that is so direct. And there is a real economy with his words and feelings. He’s not going to waste time thinking about the past, he’s not going to think about the stuff that he cannot change. He controls the controllable, and if he can’t control anything else, he is not worried about it. “

DCEU has also roped in Johnson as their adviser. And it is rumored that Black Adam will serve as the center film for all future DCEU projects. It is now to be seen, which path the film takes.

Is Dwayne Johnson’s Red Notice 2 almost complete?

As per rumors from MovieWeb, the producers of the film have announced that they are done with the script of Red Notice 2 and 3. However, it has not yet been confirmed. And with the busy schedule of all three: Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, and Dwayne Johnson, their being recast does not seem workable.
