There is something about Dwayne Johnson’s aura that is largely unmatched. Even from his wrestling days, the quintessential wrestler-turned-actor has oozed such charisma that is difficult to replicate. Not only fans, but even famous celebrities are not immune to the charm of The People’s Champion.

He has definitely come to his own ever since switching professions and gaining a worldwide fandom. The who’s who of Hollywood look up to Johnson for inspiration. And an actress who had the pleasure to work with him once revealed an embarrassing detail about meeting him for the very first time.

Auli’i Cravalho was the voice behind the titular character in the 2016 animated movie Moana. She interacted with Rolling Stones in 2020 and lifted the lid on meeting Johnson in the flesh and blood for the first time. She said, “So the first time I met Dwayne was actually at a press shoot and he brought me flowers first time.”

“And I think we had a photo shoot after that I remember very vividly hanging off his arm because yeah good photo. And I remember him smelling very good and also being like very shining like he glowed. So I remember grabbing onto his arm and being like wow, what a bicep! Yeah, that was something weird.” added Cravalho

Cravalho’s reaction to meeting ‘The Great One’ displays that she is a huge fan of the star and basically had her fangirl moment when interacting with him. The Rock also lent his voice to the 2016 movie as the character Maui. He also sent a heartwarming message to a fan of the film. The movie was a huge success and grossed more than a whopping $643 million in its worldwide collection, putting the actress who is also a successful singer on a course of success.

She has since shone in various other roles including the NBC drama series Rise and Hulu show Crush. No doubt starring in the successful Moana project has opened a lot of doors for her.

However, she is not the only one in the Cravalho household who was awestruck by Johnson’s incredible star power.

The All Together Now actor also described her mother, Puanani Cravalho’s first meeting with The Brahma Bull in the same interaction. And how she flaunted her run-in with him. She said, “But my mom also, sorry the first time my mom met Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson she says she went ‘Rock Climbing’. Still tells that story to this day.”

Johnson’s fans belong to all age groups and her mother was no different. It appears Cravalho’s mom is an even greater admirer of the 10-time WWE champion than her daughter.

Dwayne Johnson is a certified superstar who enjoys a global fandom that many few can. Not only spectators but also celebrities in the ilk of the 22-Year Old Auli’i Cravalho are his fans. There are no limits to Johnson’s insane fan circle as Hawaii-born Puanani Cravalho can attest to. He is undoubtedly a once-in-a-lifetime famous personality.
