“I Should Get Rock Treatment”: Logan Paul Aims Clear Dig at Dwayne Johnson on SmackDown 2/9 Amid Personal Heat

It seems like it’s been backlash season for the once-fan-favorite WWE mogul Dwayne Johnson. From returning to a loud pop to the WWE Universe a few months back to ending up at the receiving end of insults from the fans and veterans, The Great One changed the entire dynamic for himself by engulfing in the highly anticipated Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns title picture. Tonight Logan Paul’s clear dig about his part-time status at SmackDown only added to the giant superstar’s wrecked image.

Logan Paul reinstigated past fallout with The Rock through his massive dig at SmackDown 

When Nick Aldis has handed Paul a qualifying match against The Miz next week, The Maverick seems far from happy. He complained about not getting a US title challenger match. To voice his dissatisfaction, he made a disgraceful comparison to The Rock saying he would like to get the Rock’s treatment, coming when he wants and then leaving on a jet.

He will, however, agree to fight The Miz next week half-heartedly.

This is not the first expression of Paul’s anti ‘The Rock’ sentiment in the last 24 hours.

Logan Paul cast doubt on The Rock’s ethics as a TKO Board member

Logan Paul nailed his first defense of the WWE United States Championship last week at the Royal Rumble, retaining his belt via DQ as Kevin Owens used his brass knuckles. His issues with The Prizefighter are still not settled the Youtuber-turned-wrestler shifted his focus to the trending anti-Rock campaign.

In WWE’s footage of him arriving at the Spectrum Centre for tonight’s SmackDown, we saw him taking shots at the Great Ones’ ignited segment with Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania kick-off night. Given The Rock is now a TKO Board member, Paul deems his aggressive antics as an assault on an employee (Cody Rhodes).

Also, Paul brought his pro-Cody Rhodes nature to display, being vocal with the rampant “#WeWantCody” proponent. He, in fact, took to Twitter to react following the announcement that Cody Rhodes has chosen Roman Reigns as his WrestleMania 40 opponent.

It will be interesting to see how he will play his roles in the highly sensitive Cody Rhodes vs The Rock scuffle for headlining WrestleMania going forward.
