WWE’s Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley graced tonight’s crucial WrestleMania 40 Kickoff media event to chime in on the high-profile discussions alongside other bigwigs like The Rock and Roman Reigns. The WWE Women’s champion has showcased her charisma and promo skills during her rise to fame recently. However, while addressing Iyo Sky, Ripley made a botch mentioning her former WWE name.

Rhea Ripley detailed why this WrestleMania was going to be so special: it’s because she is walking in and out as the most dominant woman to hold a championship in WWE. She bragged about taking out Nia Jax at the upcoming Elimination Chamber. And in the process, she ended up calling Sky, Io Shirai. Fans didn’t fail to spot that mistake.

Nevertheless, despite the botch, Ripley was part of a scintillating segment involving Becky Lynch during the show.

However, shortly after the botch, Mami got interrupted by her rumored WrestleMania opponent Becky Lynch. During a tense face-off at the press conference, Lynch fired shots at the Eradicator downplaying her sole dominance in the division. ‘The Man’ made a cocky claim saying she will become the new Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 40 and let the current WWE Women’s World Champion know how it feels to be at the bottom. This was not enough of her grudge though. Lynch took to her Twitter to put Ripley on further notice. ‘Always bet on Becks’ she wrote over a photo of her face-to-face confrontation with Mami.
